Piper Archer II
The Archer is an excellent alternative to the 172
for students and private pilots who prefer a low-wing craft.
It's advisable for students to try
both high-wing and low-wing aircraft
early on in their training.
Some students find they have a strong affinity for one or the other.
Some students are equally comfortable in either.
